Legal
Terms of service.
The terms on which you may use Democrez. One of them is unusual enough to state before the document begins: an answer you submit joins an anonymous, append-only record and cannot afterwards be withdrawn — not because we refuse, but because nothing marks it as yours to withdraw.
Effective: 11 September 2026
These terms govern your use of the DemoCrez mobile applications, website, and related services operated by Nayaha India Techno Private Limited.
1. Who these terms are with
These Terms are between you and Nayaha India Techno Private Limited, the operator of DemoCrez, registered at 3, Clerk Colony, Opp. Readymade Complex, Nanda Nagar, Indore, Madhya Pradesh – 452011, India. These terms apply to the Democrez mobile application and to this website.
Sessions run with colleges and organisations are governed by a separate agreement. Institution terms
2. What Democrez is, and is not
Democrez presents situations in which every option carries a cost, records what you would do, asks you to predict what other people chose, and then shows a verified aggregate. The distance between your prediction and that figure is called the Gap.
It is not, and must not be relied upon as:
- Advice of any kind — legal, medical, financial, psychological or otherwise. Nothing produced by the platform is a recommendation about what you should do.
- An assessment of you. No score, rank or interpretation is produced about any individual, and no output is suitable for hiring, admission, counselling or evaluation.
- A source of factual claims about a population beyond what a published reading states, with the response count and method attached to it.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18+ to create a direct consumer account. Under-18 participation is permitted only through an approved institution programme with the legally required parent/guardian or institutional consent process.
You must be able to enter into a binding agreement under Indian law to use the service.
4. Your account
Access requires a phone verification confirming you are a distinct person. You are responsible for the number you verify with and for anything done through your access to the service.
Verification exists so that one person cannot answer a card repeatedly. Attempting to obtain multiple verifications in order to answer more than once is a breach of these terms.
5. What happens to an answer
This section is the one worth reading carefully.
- An answer is appended, permanently. It joins an anonymous record that is never edited or deleted, and it contributes to aggregates other people will see.
- It cannot be withdrawn. No identifier links a submitted answer to you, so there is no entry marked as yours to remove. This applies from the moment of submission.
- You may delete your account. That removes the account and its verification. It does not and cannot reach answers already absorbed into aggregates. Delete your data
- You grant us the right to use answers in aggregate to produce and publish readings. Nothing identifying you is published, because nothing identifying you is recorded.
6. What you may not do
- Obtain more than one verification in order to answer a card more than once
- Coordinate answers with others for the purpose of shifting an aggregate
- Use automated means to submit answers, or to scrape the service
- Attempt to identify any individual respondent from any output
- Interfere with the service, its security, or other people's use of it
- Reproduce the situations commercially, or present them as your own
Security research is welcome and is not a breach of these terms where it follows the disclosure process. Report a vulnerability
7. Content and ownership
The situations, wording, options, design and written material on the platform belong to us. You may quote a published reading with attribution, including its response count and seal date; you may not republish the deck of situations or present them as your own.
You do not submit content in the ordinary sense. Participants choose between written options rather than writing text, so no user-generated material enters the platform.
8. Availability
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be available at any particular time, that any card will open, or that a reading you are waiting on will ever cross its threshold. A card that does not reach enough responses simply stays closed, and that is a normal outcome rather than a fault.
9. Payment
Free: Play + Reveal. DemoCrez Premium: ₹999 per year for deeper private insights / personal reports. Institution engagements: custom quote. No advertising and no pay-to-win features.
Where a charge applies, refund terms are set out on the refund policy. Institution sessions are quoted separately. How we make money
10. Ending your use
You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached, in particular where somebody attempts to manipulate an aggregate — because that harms every other person's reading, not only ours.
11. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DemoCrez/Nayaha is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of informational, predictive or reflective outputs. Aggregate liability for a paid consumer service is limited to the fees paid by that user to DemoCrez in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including statutory consumer and data-protection rights.
What can be stated now: nothing the platform produces is advice, and no decision about a person should be made on the basis of any output.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer or statutory forum rights, courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh shall have jurisdiction.
Complaints about data handling or about a breach of our stated obligations go to the Grievance Officer. Grievance redressal
13. Changes to these terms
Material changes will be published on this page with the date they took effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the revised terms.
